7 Quick Tips to Live Better
Meditate/Refresh your body and mind. Cold shower, brisk walk, 10 minutes of silence - whatever it takes to clear your mental palette and focus on the day. None of the next 6 are possible with a fatigued mind and body.
Never forget the bigger picture. To lose perspective is to stop living with purpose. Understand your small place in the world and remember the fragility and impermanence of the problems in your life.
Live with purpose and intention. How we do anything is how we do everything. In any action, you take during the day (even inaction), do it with intent and a purpose. Whether selfish or selfless.
Build. Build up powerful habits or an empire or even just a pristine garden. Leave your beautiful mark. Create what you wish existed; there is no correlation between the complexity of the issue and its solution.
Spend all your energy and spend it wisely. Leave this day and go to the next having given all that you can. But make sure that you spend both your most valuable resources (time and energy) wisely.
